Dessert Tastes Better in the Dark

The next time the wife's meatloaf tastes a little bland, don't reach for the salt or pepper shaker. Just close your eyes. Your taste buds will be pleased with the experience. Telegram.com reports on a new Manhattan restaurant that serves their patrons while being blindfolded.

I remember my parents telling me as a kid to "stop walking around with your eyes closed" when I wanted to see what it was like to be blind. This was akin to "don't run with scissors" which I still do occasionally if only to be rebellious.

I think there's great potential for eateries of this kind. Imagine the possibilities. The quality of presentation is no longer an issue, who cares, you can't see the plate anyway. Dress code goes right out the window, come as you are, nobody sees you.
